For the travelers, they do not care to go to places that they never know. That is what I feel too as a traveler for a very long time. Sometimes, I use my car if the distance is reachable using car or else I use public transportation. The important thing for me is the happiness and comfort during my travelling. However, problems always come especially when you do not know the way to get to the place. I used to have online map from my phone and it was hard for me to make sure whether or not the navigation was correct. So, I started to use GPS. From many GPS offered, I choose what for me is the best GPS, which is Garmin nUvi 1490LMT. Tomtom vs Garmin.

Garmin nUvi 1490LMT contains City Navigator NT data for 48 states, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. It is so amazing since I really want to travel to those countries. In addition, it also provided with nearly six million points of interest. I am having eyes’ dysfunction for a long time. I cannot see something in a long distance and I should use glasses wherever I go. Therefore, I should choose GPS that have suitable size for my eyes and Garmin nUvi 1490LMT is the answer. It is sunlight-readable or in other words it uses solar power energy. It has 5 inch backlit TFT. The monitor is in sharp color mode and it has touch screen display with 480 x 272 WQVGA. With this size, I can see the monitor clearly.

There is no people love to be in the traffic jam and so do I. But I am so glad that I have this GPS which has traffic updates so that I can know which road that has free of jam. I will take another road that also suggested by this GPS. The lifetime map update provided is also really useful. The update takes just couple minutes so I do not have to wait for a long time. As a businessman, I used to have habit for having phone calls in the car. The rules from government now are strict about not having phone call in the car. However, now I have Garmin nUvi 1490LMT that has Bluetooth wireless technology. It is a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free calling. So, this GPS is not only helping me as guidance on road but also provided any useful thing. I can have an important call while I am driving without any disturbance.

Garmin nUvi 1490LMT provides another great thing also which is lane assist junction view. I am so helped with this system. It also has fuel saving system which means that it can inform me how much fuel I will take for the distance that I want. Very practical and helpful; I do not have to face trouble caused by run out of gas in the middle of the journey, anymore. I had experienced such thing, and believe me; it was not beautiful at all. All in all, I am really satisfied with Garmin nUvi 1490LMT. With the price that is reachable enough, I can get many useful things. The provided map that is really complete, the design of monitor that is really eye catching, the plus point of this GPS which is sun-readable, traffic updates, lifetime map updates, Bluetooth wireless technology are the facilities that I get from purchasing Garmin nUvi 1490LMT. I would say it is like purchasing many things in just a single package.
